Steps To Getting That Natural Makeup Look
I absolutely love doing everyone else’s makeup, but get me out the door when it comes to my own! PLUS, I’m really enjoying the feeling of very little product on my face (and my skin has been thanking me too).
Step 1: Use Mineral Sheer Tint (all of the tints with glow in the name contain a sheer shimmer effect and I LOVE it.)
It provides just enough coverage to even out the skin tone, and I used my clean hands to apply it, but you can use a brush if you wish. *If you use a brush, it will provide more coverage.
Step 2: Tackle distractions such as veins, blemishes, or under-eye darkness with the Flawless Color Correctors. These are very pigmented and meant to be applied in a VERY thin layer touching only color to color.
To neutralize:
- Excess blue takes orange
- Excess purple takes yellow
- Excess green takes red
Step 3: Add in some depth/warmth using the Baked Finishing Matte Bronzing Powder, applying only in the bronzing areas (cheeks/forehead/bridge of the nose/ décolleté)
Step 4: Use the Precision Brow Pencil to fill in any sparse areas.
Bonus Tip: I’ve been wearing Lashify lashes lately and love them. They are super easy to apply, and there is no need for mascara when I’m wearing them. Plus, the lashes last 3-4 days.
